Greetings!  Our Chapter has had an eventful semester and I hope that the next one will be just as productive.  First I want to address a couple pressing issues that strike at the heart of the Chapter;  Rush and Finance.

Now is the time to start what I believe is the most important part of being a brother.  Rushing.  It is a general consensus that new members are the lifeblood of this fraternity, and it is time to start bringing in potentials that might add to the good name that Sigma Pi has come to stand for.  So I urge all of you to not just search for people at the next party you go to, but look at your friends in study groups and other sources of comradery.  This will add new "blood" to the ranks and encourage growth for the Chapter.

Next I want to discuss finance.  As of late we have found out that we have fallen behind on some things and are working our way out.  I want to say to all of you that helped us so far, "Way to go!"  I was really impressed with the way things got moving to take care of these issues.  But we cannot complete this task with those few persons allone.  We need everyone to help where they can.  We have done well so far, but don't let a little progress let us think that we are set.  We are far from it.  So I ask you, Brothers, keep an ear to the floor for any financial opportunities that may arise that our Chapter can take part in.

Well, enough preaching.  I am proud of the Chapter for accomplishing as much as it has over the last couple of semesters.  Keep it up and we will continue to be the best Fraternity on campus.

First off let me congratulate the seven new members of the Sigma Pi - Gamma Mu Chapter.

Good Times, Lightswitch, Twitch, Backwards J, New Hotness, Jana and Gunit.

You've proved your worth through your pledgeship and we are proud to call you brothers! Next I'd like to congratulate our two graduating brothers for this semester. Andrew "Cracker" Baer and Michael "Meesh" Holden are the Sigma Pi class of the winter of 2005. They have been putting work into the well-being of the Gamma Mu chapter since I was in junior high and it's sad to see them go. Best of luck to the both of you!

We teamed up with the sisters of Sigma Sigma Sigma to win the Homecoming Competition this year by a total of 14 points over Delta Sigma Phi and Phi Mu.

Indivudual games we placed in included:

• 1st - Float
• 1st - Marching Unit
• 1st - Banner
• 1st - Superhero Trivia
• 2nd - House Decorations
• 3rd - Canoe Race.

We also recieved participation points for Yell Like Hell, Lip Sync, Homecoming Voting, Spoons and Scavenger Hunt. Congratulations guys and let's kick some ass at Winter Carnival!
